We know because we have experience in the field. Experience dealing with investors all over the world, ranging from family offices and institutions in Hong Kong to sovereign wealth funds in the GCC and fund managers in Europe and North America, not to mention many more in between.
And the thing about fundraising, or asking people to part with their money, is that it can take quite some time. Let's face it, nobody just writes a cheque on the back of a single discussion or e-mail. At least most investors don't. So a fundraiser must be extra protective of their time, which as you know is a highly scarce resource. To do things efficiently.
